Maddison Douch is a professional singer and songwriter with over 10 years experience singing and playing a breadth of instruments including guitar, piano, trumpet and trombone.

Maddison has secured a number of main stage slots over the past year, most recently supporting Kaiser Chiefs, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Feeling, All Saints and Faithless. Her band is a collaboration of artistic musicians, who have added a disco rock vibe to her overall sound. The band consists of Corey Penfound (bass), Alex Oak (guitar), John Penfound (guitar) and David Penfound (drums).

The next single Vodka Orange, featuring the whole band and new sound, is due to be released September 2021.

Over the years, Maddison has played at a multitude of weddings, parties and festivals including Chris Evans’ CarFest, as well as gigs at prestigous venues such as The Anvil (Basingstoke), G Live (Guildford) and The Barbican.

Before graduating Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she performed as a part of the Guildhall Conchords A Capella group at the ICCAs.

Maddison has taught at theatre schools such as Stagecoach and Long Ov erdue Theatre School as well as many primary schools across Hampshire. Maddison is also experienced in arranging and writing for orchestras, big bands and choirs.

Recently, she has started her Andover based choir ‘Mad Melodies’ and is now offering 1-1 singing tuition.
